Qi2 25W (officially Qi2.2) is the latest wireless charging tier from the Wireless Power Consortium. Announced mid-2025, it raises the speed ceiling from 15W to 25W while keeping the same magnetic alignment system as standard Qi2.
Phone & Charger Support
Phones: iPhone 17 series (native), iPhone 16 series (via iOS 26 update). Android support expected in 2026 flagships.
Chargers: First Qi2 25W certified chargers from Belkin and Anker arrived late 2025. More brands expected throughout 2026.
Backward compatible: Qi2 25W chargers work with all Qi2 phones (at 15W) and all Qi phones (at 7.5W).
